Report: Cutting-Edge Motion Control Products at Automate
Automation World paid a visit to Automate 2015 to explore the newest technologies in motion control. Vendors with interesting new products included PHD, Nook Industries, Gudel and Yaskawa Motorman.
Automate 2015, which took place March 23-26, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois, set new show and conference records with 18,115 verified attendees visiting the show floor from across the United States and 72 other countries. Automate 2015 was over 76% larger than the 2013 show bringing in 322 exhibitors.
Motion control technologies are critical to the manufacturing, processing and packaging industries, all of which require precision automated machinery, from pneumatic and hydraulic actuators to linear motors, switches, sensors and clamps. These devices are necessary to advanced robotics as well as traditional materials handling technologies.
